Jo-Ann Heslin, registered dietitian (RD), certified dietitian/nutritionist (CDN), author and nutrition educator for over 30 years, recently advised Comfort Care(TM) Foods that our products will be included in the upcoming editions of The Calorie Counter and The Ultimate Carbohydrate Counter.

Ms. Heslin advised us of her plans with this note:

"I spent 14 years as the continuing education instructor in nutrition at Adelphi University, School of Nursing. One of my primary responsibilities was to teach the nutrition component for the oncology nursing certificate program. Your products intrigued me because I had never seen a line of food directed especially for the cancer patient. Nutrition needs, taste changes, mouth and digestive problems, and extreme fatigue make eating well during recovery a challenge for many cancer survivors.

In 2009 I will be revising The Calorie Counter, 5th ed. and The Ultimate Carbohydrate Counter, 3rd ed. Comfort Care foods will be in both of these books. Their publication date is December, 2009.
